In addition to the two hours of core curriculum, each student registered may enroll in more enrichment courses.
Siblings are also welcome to register for enrichment classes.
Students can choose from the following enrichment classes:
Dance, Sing, Move!:
Let’s put music in our bodies and voices! We will build community through joyful, harmonic singing, abiding by the guiding principle, “When you sing from your heart you are always in tune!” We will move our bodies creatively to music and learn fun dances to popular songs and folk tunes! Come ready to sing, dance, and have fun moving to music! Classes will be organized by age. Minimum age: 3 years old. Join Rachel Brackett for a joyful class!

Improvisation for ALL: No instrumental experience needed. Siblings are welcome to join! Beginning with students as young as 4 years old.
All instruments and levels are invited to learn the art of fiddle and improvisation. Students will be grouped into classes according to their level of playing and all will do lots of scatting exercises, percussion for jazz games, and instruments at varying levels for the beginning improvisation.
Dalcroze: One of our most popular enrichment classes for students of all ages!
Dalcroze Education is a playful, experiential approach to teaching and learning music. It is a process for awakening, developing, and refining innate musicality through rhythmic movement (often called eurhythmics), ear-training, and improvisation. Students will skip, dance, jump, leap, toss balls and scarves, all while solidifying their music theory and rhythmic training.
